St. Luke’s Hospice has been supporting local people and their families, making a difference in ways you might not expect, for the past 35 years.  

A gift in your Will made to St. Luke’s Hospice will help us to continue this caring work, today and for years to come. Hospice care is everything you’d expect and everything you wouldn’t, and it wouldn’t exist without people like you. 

When making your Will, we understand that your first priority is providing for loved ones, but many people also choose to remember one or more causes they care about, like St. Luke’s Hospice.  

A gift in your Will, no matter how large or small, is one of the most valuable and lasting ways you can support our caring work, as we continue to meet the changing needs of our patients, their families, carers and our wider community.

By leaving a gift to St. Luke’s Hospice in your Will, you help to ensure we can continue caring for and supporting patients like Pat, and her family.  

After Pat received the news that she had terminal cancer, she was introduced to St. Luke's Hospice where she received care from our Clinical Outpatients service and our In-Patient Unit, where Pat passed away in October 2023. Her husband John reflects on the time Pat spent at the Hospice and the difference it made to her, and their family. 

“Had it not been for the care, devotion and support from the whole of St. Luke’s people and facilities, not only for Pat but for us as a family as well, then I do not know what we would have done.

Each day we are so grateful that you were the ones that helped her through those difficult days.  Nobody could ask for more, from the first day at St. Luke’s, you made her feel comfortable and still like a human being.
