Hospice festive appeal ensures care and support for community St. Luke's Hospice has launched a festive appeal, encouraging the community to come together to ensure local families receive the care and support they need. At a time of year that is often filled with family celebrations, important traditions, togetherness and kindness, St. Luke’s Hospice is calling on the community to help ensure its care can continue - and that no one faces this season alone. While many families gather in celebration, the Hospice nurses, doctors and care teams will be working around the clock, providing 24/7 care and support to those who need it most. This vital support cannot pause for the holidays and can only continue in the future with the generosity of the community. In the coming weeks, St. Luke's Hospice will be sharing its own special stories, highlighting the traditions, connections and compassion that shape this time of year for the people it supports. Eileen Marshall, Chief Executive of St. Luke’s Hospice, said: “As we draw our anniversary year to a close, we are asking our community to come together once again. If you are able, please consider making a donation this festive season. Your support could help fund an essential visit to a patient’s home, ensure our OneResponse emergency line is staffed all day, every day, or provide Christmas meals for those staying with us. Every gift means so much to us all.” If you would like to donate to St. Luke’s Hospice this festive season, visit www.stlukeshospice.com/festive-appeal or you can contact the Fundraising team on 01268 524973 or email [email protected].
