St. Luke’s Hospice awarded Disability Confident accreditation St. Luke’s Hospice is proud to announce the charity has been awarded a Disability Confident Committed (Level 1) accreditation, recognising its continued commitment to hiring and supporting disabled team members. The accreditation, awarded by the government’s Disability Confident employer scheme, recognises the charity’s ongoing efforts to actively recruit, support, and empower employees with disabilities. St. Luke's Hospice is now taking steps to reach the Disability Confident Employer Level 2 accreditation and will continue to strive for Disability Confident Leader Level 3 in the coming years. Craig Hardaker, Director of People and Culture at St. Luke’s Hospice, said: “We are proud of this accreditation and to be part of the Disability Confident movement. It not only reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive but also enables us to play our part in helping society improve its perception of disability and challenge stereotypes. “We will continue to strive and aspire for excellence in our workplace now and in the future, nurturing St. Luke’s Hospice as a great place to work, by enhancing workplace practices and ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported. Together, we are building a culture that celebrates ability in all its forms.” To learn more about how you can start your career with St. Luke's Hospice or begin your volunteering journey with us today, head to our website www.stlukeshospice.com/join-our-team.
