What is Festive Run? 

Our Festive Run fundraiser is a joyful season-long campaign inviting schools to raise funds for St. Luke’s Hospice through hosting a fundraiser of their choice. From mince pie mornings to Christmas jumper days; carol singing to gift wrapping marathons – whatever activity brings your school joy and fits in with your students' curriculum. Workplaces and groups are welcome to join in the fun too. 

With no set time, location or activity you can make your Festive Run as big or as small as you wish. 

Fundraising ideas to get you started 

🎄Santa hat day – wear it proudly at school or work 

🎄Festive coffee morning – mince pies and frosted cakes 

🎄Christmas Jumper Day - the more outrageous, the better 

🎄Gift wrapping station – wrap presents for donations 

🎄Winter walk or sporting challenge – set your own pace and your own goal 

🎄Carol singing or talent show – bring music and magic to your community  

🎄Get creative with art and crafts – the only limit is your imagination

Why take part in Festive Run? 

All funds raised from Festive Run will help to us to ensure the continued provision of specialist palliative and end of life care, where and when it is needed the most.

could pay for 2 hours of specialist palliative and end of life care for a patient in Basildon In-Patient Unit

could provide one whole day of the Complimentary Therapy Services

could provide a patient on the Basildon In-Patient Unit with delicious, and often bespoke, home cooked meals for one week
