At St. Luke’s Hospice, we believe that care goes far beyond our walls and lives within our community.

Our Community Ambassadors are local champions who share our story, raise awareness and inspire others to get involved. By representing St. Luke’s Hospice in their neighbourhoods, workplaces, schools and groups, our Community Ambassadors help to make sure that everyone knows about the care, comfort and support we provide.

What does a Community Ambassador do?

Community Ambassadors play a vital role in connecting St. Luke’s Hospice with the people we serve. Every Community Ambassador brings something unique, whether it’s a personal story, community connections or simply a passion for helping others. Our Community Ambassadors:

  • Raise awareness – share information about our services, events and how hospice care makes a difference.
  • Represent the Hospice – attend local events, community meetings and fundraising activities as a friendly face of the Hospice.
  • Inspire action – Encourage others to support our work through volunteering, fundraising or donations.
  • Build connections – Strengthen links between St. Luke’s Hospice and local organisations, schools, faith groups and businesses.
